Nice pool, small rocky beach, clean hotel
Hotel property is clean, a little outdated, unlike the adjacent property (Embassy Suites). Ask about towel service for the pool. We were not given cards to get towels at the pool and had to go back inside to convince the day staff we were never given them at check-in. While you have access to the pool area until 3 p.m. checkout, you are required to return towels at checkout, which is indoors, not poolside.
- Nice pool area with different areas, hot tub jets did not work, no diving wells
- Beach area is small, lots of marsh and seagrass, rocky, we sustained several cuts trying to swim out to the deeper water, but overall the area is shallow and no waves. Watch out for sea urchins.
- There are only outdoor showers, none in pool bathrooms which would be helpful to have with small children.
- Dog friendly beach and grass where we saw owners go on walks.
- Kitchenette and washer/dryer were great to have, though a bit small and loud. Run it while you are away from the room.
- Rooms have a bright flashing lights in bedrooms and living room, which made it hard to sleep. They flashed every 10 minutes.
- Vanity sink was clogged and they sent someone up right away. We did not ask for them to fix it immediately since it was late at night.
- Room (King and fold out sofa) were fine, plenty of sheets and blankets were given to us because we paid for an extra guest
- Hotel ran out of shampoo and conditioner so we were only given extra soap bars and body wash gels.
