Makati Diamond Residences
"Very good"
City Garden GRAND Hotel
"A little dated, but overall good quality for the money. The air conditioner was hard to operate and you could never really get the temperature where you wanted it. So you had to control it by turning it off or on. It blew plenty of cold air, but it was hard to control."
Fairmont Makati
"Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Fairmont Makati and would still gladly return and recommend it to friends and family. The highlights for us were the pool and beautiful city views, the very comfortable beds, and the bathroom amenities. I especially loved the Le Labo toiletries, rainfall shower, and bathtub. We also enjoyed Spectrum and its huge buffet selection. Most importantly, the staff were generally warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. A few areas could be improved. Since we used Grab throughout our stay, my husband would often arrive dressed casually and modestly. On two separate occasions, he was questioned or seemed to be doubted as a hotel guest until he spoke with his American accent. This was disappointing. I hope staff can be reminded that Filipino/Tagalog-speaking guests, regardless of how they are dressed, should receive the same welcoming treatment. We added the breakfast buffet, but found it overpriced. The selection is extensive, but the price still feels excessive for what one can realistically consume at breakfast. For a hotel at this price point, it would also be nice to have streaming services or smart TV options instead of mainly local channels. The welcome pastry was also underwhelming—dense and a little difficult to identify. Despite these points, the excellent location, comfortable rooms, amenities, and overall Fairmont experience made our stay worthwhile. We would definitely consider staying again."

Visitors can enjoy a wonderful blend of shopping, dining, bars, cafés, urban entertainment, live music, festivals, and a thriving business scene—all contributing to a memorable and budget-friendly experience.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals in Makati, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions that could help you save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available through the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you make well-informed choices. With these features, you're more likely to be the first to know about any room availability or price reductions for your desired hotels.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Makati hotel. For those interested in distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates appears above or below average. If the price seems on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Makati’s superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well linked. For those inclined to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
