Charming little place.
A lovely little place. Situated on the river. The town and the buildings reminded me of Cuba. Very colorful and charming.

Friendly staff
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Very short walk to the heart of the city. AC was not able to regulate the temperature well, but that will be the case in most hotels in Tlacotalpan.

Lovely Tlacotalpan.
My mom and I stayed at this hotel to visit family during the day of the death festivities. The hotel is was a formerly elegant home of the area. It is beautiful and peaceful. Basic services. Nothing fancy if you are used of big chains. You will not find that in Tlacotalpan and that is quite alright. It is a nice and peaceful town. Super charming at night. The time has stopped here and that's amazing. The staff are attentive, the food delicious and the room very clean. I will stay here again.

Quiet town
The hotel was very nice, the double bed rooms are huge and we can see the river. The only bad thing about the hotel is that we didn't have hot water. There were some trouble with the heater.

Relaxing and clean room
My mom and stayed at this hotel to attend a cultural event. The room was tidy and comfortable. Old Mexican hacienda style. The room was comfy. I had the suite. Tlacotalpan is a relaxing place. It feels like the time stopped. If I am ever back, this is the hotel I would stay at again.

Functional but charmless
This is an OK place, we had a big room facing the river with a noisy air-conditioner and a comfortable bed. But for a town as quaint as this, this small hotel had all the charm of a Motel 8. As we walked around the town we noticed a few other hotels, some located in old colonial houses, that seem to have typical furniture, nice gardens, etc. The Dona Lala Hotel is four stories and faces the riverfront park, and we had a nice meal there. Don't know the rates at these other places but I would suggest that visitors check them out. I would suggest visitors check out other options.

A Perfect Gem of a Hotel
This is a truly lovely little hotel on the river. The views are exquisite, the hotel staff helpful. The room was very clean. The shower had lots of hot water. It felt like staying in a small, lovely hacienda. We look forward to coming back soon.

Family memory times
We arrived late at the hotel, no problems at all to find it, I'm familiar with the town, really clean hotel, Dina and Front desk lady was really nice, we have the biggest room, and rally nice an quieted during night time, AC working perfect. Tlacotalpan is a really small town, so everything is really close, unfortunately, because was really low season, they don't offer the breakfast in front of the river. But we have a great time

2/10 Poor
