Good value for the price
Beautiful hotel in a great location.
The great: Our room (ocean view suite) was well appointed and comfortable. The food at the a la carte restaurants was exceptional, especially the asian restaurant and a real stand out was Krystal (thank you Samuel!). Overall the service was wonderful and attentive. We only attended one party (white party) and for a resort party it was amazing.
The ok: The pools were nice. We liked the variety of fun pool, bar pool and quiet pool even though they were all very much next to one another. The resort was also very clean.
The slight bummers: Small things - we asked for an extra blanket and never got one (it was pretty cold in the room even with the AC off). There was no way to use the mirror when drying one's hair (weird placement of the hair dryer). Getting back to the resort after the white party, the shuttle would have been a long wait (40 minutes) so we had to take taxi at our own cost.
Overall, the quality is top notch for the price. Everything felt very well organized and well run, though we sometimes felt we would have loved this resort to have a bit more personality. Everything was a bit bland and standardized.
