I stayed at Atelier Playa Mujeres for seven days with my husband. It is a GORGEOUS property with multiple choices of restaurants and all very well made and delicious. It is clean, staff is super friendly. Here is the part that will not allow me to give it a 5/5. They have this "Loyalty Membership" called, Inspira Club (a.k.a Time Share face life). When we got there, the resort did not have the room I had booked with expedia. They made us stay in a double bed room. In order to make up for it, they "upgraded" us to the beaded bracelet and the next day gave us the room I had booked. On our third day there, we were approached by an employee who started a casual conversation and from there went on to invite us for a get together. When we show up for it, it is nothing more than a "classy Time Share." They took 2 hours of our time. Buyers beware... if time share is for you, then maybe you are ready to be fooled by this. "no blackout dates, exclusive perks, use any time of the year, exclusive travel website, this and that." They just did not know who they were offering it to. Wrong people. Otherwise, they block out rooms for their "Inspira members" that looks like "sold out" to people viewing through Expedia, for example. Not really. Maybe if you book through the resort directly. They may still say they don't have it, or try to get you to upgrade or become the "Inspire Member." One other thing. Wines are not included. PRICEY! Do not order it! Honesty would be nice. Beautiful place!
