Great location & view but room for improvement
This was one of our numerous stays at the hotel. We love the location, the view over the Sky Tree (you can't beat that) and the good service. However, some of the rooms really need to be refurbished. The new payment system (through a machine) doesn't go well with a hotel of such standards and it is confusing. The staff had to come and assist so why not pay at the front desk? And... whether it is your first time staying there or the 10th, nobody seems to have a record of it. It is always a bonus though when you are greeted as a return guest.

Couple Tokyo visit
We had a wonderful stay at the Asakusa Hotel, our room faces the Tokyo Skytree, a beautiful view. Hotel room is spacious and bedding is comfortable. The only Cons is the bathing area is too small and there is no room for hanging towels not storage.

A room with a view!
We were happily surprised with how nice the hotel was. We were facing Mount Fuji and luckily got a glimpse one day. We didn’t use any of restaurants except to grab a sake after a day touristing. We never were able to find morning coffee and the wonderful bakery doesn’t open until 9:00 in the morning. But great location and view - as the name suggests.

We had a lovely few days at your hotel. The staff overall were excellent and the views amazing. One disappoint was our reception on arrival. We had just flown 13 hours from London and arrived at the hotel around 8am to be told we could not check in before 3pm. No alternative was suggested - just come back at 3pm. After having a coffee in the lounge we tried again and asked if perhaps we go to the swimming pool while we waited for our room to be ready. This member of staff was much more receptive to our plight and we had a swim and a relaxing few hours by the pool. A relaxing lounge area for guests like us would be a huge improvement.

Nice hotel and good location for moving to next place via bullet train. Found a nice bakery right by the metro stop for the hotel for breakfast. Rooms quite small but free bottled water every day, lovely cleaners and helpful staff.
