Really enjoyed my stay here. I was at a conference at the hotel itself so spent most of my time there. I didn't get out of the hotel often, so can't speak much of the surrounding area. But, there is a convience store just across the road, and the facilities at the hotel are great. Plus, the view out the back of the hotel is simply breathtaking.

The pool facilities were great, but we could not use the sauna as you have to sit there without a bathing suite. The views were awesome.

Amazing view and a lovely clean room. The swimming pool was a delight. We loved swimming in the lake straight from the hotel. The breakfast was just what you would want after a good night sleep. The only negative I would say is the pillows were a bit flat with no support. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If you aren't looking for a really special destination and you just need to stop somewhere between destinations, than this location is great. If you're looking for a little spa weekend, I would recommend spending an extra fifty bucks and stay elsewhere. However if you like a 70's time warp, this is the place for you. It's also very clean ...so that's a plus!;)

A hidden gem. We loved this hotel. Arrived late in the evening so didn't see the views until morning. Wow! Breathtaking. Had both dinner and breakfast on the property and everything was delicious. My wife and I sat outside and were able to enjoy the view of the lake. Our room had an amazing view in the morning. Hope we get to enjoy this place again. Can't recommend it enough.
