Big rooms with great view, but everyday when we returned to the room it had 10’s of dead flys (after it was cleaned in the morning). For the price of the room the hotel can install nets on the windows or do something to prevent dead flys in the room(we were 6 days in the hotel, every day the same)

We had a really good time in this place. Its a little far away from interlaken but the views are so good that no one can imagine. Hotel is overall okay a little old but not bad and the food was really good. We had a really good time here. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on the side of the mountain and it offers picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and lake. It was easily accessed and offers ample parking. The lobby, restaurant and pool/fitness area are excellent. We did not try the sauna area as it is “textile free.” The grounds have an outdoor sitting area as well as indoor and outdoor play areas for children. The rooms were great and very spacious. We booked a room for two adults and three children and we were assigned to a two bedroom 1.5 bath suite which also had a kitchenette. I will caution that our room had a tall staircase leading from the living room/kitchenette area to the bedrooms/bathrooms which you must be cautious of if you have young children. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. The check in/check out process was easy and the views were magnificent. The hotel is located next to a stop for the free bus to Interlaken and a short walk to the mountain cable car.
