Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay at Shiomi Prince Hotel and were extremely impressed by the overall value. It was a wonderful place to stay, with comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and a level of hospitality that made our visit completely stress-free. The staff were multilingual, thoughtful, and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. I had shipped several suitcases to the hotel ahead of our arrival, and everything was there waiting for us when we arrived. The packages were kept safely and securely, and the staff handed them to me promptly and efficiently. This was especially reassuring after a long journey—there was simply nothing we needed to worry about. The hotel was also remarkably well organized, and every interaction with the staff gave me confidence that things were being taken care of. Their professionalism and genuine thoughtfulness really stood out. The only slight drawback is the hotel's distance from the Shibuya/Harajuku area, so it may not be the most convenient choice if those neighborhoods are the main focus of your trip. However, if you are visiting Tokyo Disneyland Resort, this would be an ideal place to stay. The combination of location, comfort, service, and value makes it an excellent choice. Overall, Shiomi Prince Hotel exceeded my expectations. Excellent value, wonderful staff, and a truly worry-free stay. I would absolutely stay here again."

10/10 Excellent
"Very convenient location if you’re flying out of Haneda. We were able to use the airport cart all the way to the hotel. The hotel staff can also keep your luggage with the cart at the cloak. On the day we left, we brought the cart right in front of our room and took all of our luggage to the airport check-in counter, which was especially helpful since we had so much luggage. The hotel is new and clean, and it also has a hot spring facility, shops, and restaurants."

Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo

Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent Value with Spectacular Skytree Views Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo offers some of the best value for your money. If you are arriving from Narita Airport, the Airport Limousine Bus takes you directly to the hotel for approximately ¥3,100, which is both convenient and reasonably priced. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle buses to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. The nighttime view of Tokyo Skytree, the world’s tallest tower, is absolutely spectacular. Complimentary bottled water is provided in the room each day, along with quality toiletries, body wash, and shampoo. The beds are medium firm and comfortable. Even the elevators are exceptionally smooth and quiet. You can barely feel them moving between floors. The breakfast buffet is well worth it. It includes freshly made omelettes, bacon, sausages, fries, rice, steamed vegetables, fresh fruit, bread for toast, miniature croissants, cereals, tofu, candied yams, smoked salmon, and a wide selection of coffees, teas, and juices. The hotel’s other restaurants are also very good. The location is excellent. There is a 7 Eleven directly across the street, a shopping mall about 200 metres away, and Kinshicho Station is only a short walk from the hotel. Sumida City feels safe and has plenty to see and do. There is also a laundromat around the corner that is open 24 hours. This is a great place to stay during a Tokyo vacation. It offers convenience, comfort, excellent transportation options, and one of the best views."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Tokyo

  1. Book for the cheapest times: January, August, and September present a budget-friendly time to visit Tokyo, as hotels may drop to lower prices during these months. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions such as temples, museums, monuments, urban shopping areas, architectural gems, flower exhibitions, natural parks, and seafood experiences. This affordable period offers great value for money on a budget, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Tokyo's rich history and vibrant culture.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Discover DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals to Tokyo on Hotels.com, where you may find attractive hotel deals and recommendations across Japan, including Tokyo. 3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your Tokyo hotel stay. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised service and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is higher or lower than average. Should the price be on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Tokyo's superb public transport links, you might come across a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
