Best location, room is very clean
Overall very pleasant to stay there. The pros: one of the best location, near shopping mall, also plus they provide discount to park in the Q park if you pre-booking the parking. Please make sure you book online the parking before you head to q park. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed in the level 3, the room facility is bit run down and I think it needed to morderlise it, especially the toilet and also the TV. I would say its excellent place for city visit to explore around.

Good Hotel!
Family-friendly stay! Excellent service! Great location! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Their restaurant has one of the best food in Edinburgh. Various parking options nearby. Very pricey but we were lucky to get one of the 10spots at the Calton Hill outdoor parking which is a few minutes walk from the hotel which was reasonable for the location. We walked or hopped on frequent buses for travel within the city during our stay!

Owners need to look at the in-room experience.
The quality of room during this stay fell below what would be expected and previously experienced at an Apex hotel. Although the staff were excellent, the room I was initially allocated was uncomfortable due to noise coming from a plant room, I was assured the noise would stop by 10pm, this failed to happen. The room was also oddly proportioned which made for an uncomfortable experience. I was moved to a better suited room, however from 5AM I was frequently woken by the noise of rushing water above my head. Overall I did not feel well rested after my stay.

Fantastic location, really welcoming staff. I had requested a high floor and this was accommodated, I had a lovely view of the monument from my pillow and the room was quiet and warm. It was looking tired around the edges however and there was only a plug socket at one side of the bed which was inconvenient. Hotel info (wifi, check out time etc) was on the inside of the key card but this wasn’t point out and unfortunately we missed it until we collected it to return on check out. Tea and coffee much appreciated, fridge and safe also in room as well as iron iron board, hairdryer etc. Great stay overall

Hotel is in an excellent location. Friendly staff from check-in, bar staff, breakfast staff and spa staff. Lovely hotel with pool, sauna and steam room. Spa treatments available too. Lovely modern hotel in central location.
Lovely modern hotel in an excellent central location. Large suite with a big bathroom. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Could have done with a touch more decorative items but no complaints, the bed was very comfortable. Food and service was very good. Have stayed before and will again.
