Lovely room, standard breakfast
Great room apart from the temperature. Very hot, no heating was on, had to open windows and then it was very noisy. Breakfast was standard, nothing very special. Limited cereal choices which was surprising. Tried to contact reception due to hairdryer issue and heat in room. Couldn’t get anyone, had to call room service who were then to contact reception.. 30 mins later still waiting!

No air con - horribly hot
Great interiors, great location, lovely breakfast, staff were great - but no air conditioning made this a miserable experience. It was close to 30 degrees in our 3rd floor room and impossible to sleep, regardless of the heatwave to have no air con in a newly renovated hotel is crazy and with warmer weather becoming the norm they need to sort this out.

Going downhill rapidly
Hi after several visits to the sandman this will be my last. Reception were rude when asking to check in 20mins early . On top off that the constant noise from outside hotel to the room being too hot with no Aircon or fan leading to a terrible sleep . Breakfast was a let down as most items were luke warm at best . The hotel in my opinion has went downhill at a rapid rate over the last few years .

The hotel is very nice but unfortunately my room was adjacent to a very busy road junction and there was noise all night. I would have closed the window but the room had no ac or fan and was very warm.
