Nice hotel, great location
This hotel is in an excellent location. At the top of a very busy shopping street, with bars and restaurants all the way along and off the side-streets too. The cities underground has stations around the corner, tram lines and stops outside. All museums and main tourist attractions are within a 30 minute walk (maximum), including the main Vienna city centre. Staff are pleasant, rooms clean and the hotels restaurant does a solid breakfast. Really cannot complain about this hotel, and it's locality.

My "Unforgettable" Experience at IntercityHotel
Dear fellow travelers, I recently had the pleasure of staying at IntercityHotel Wien from July 12 to July 13, and I must say it was a truly unique experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a surprise leakage issue in my room, complete with a creatively placed water bin as the centerpiece. The air conditioning system seemed to have its own unique approach to climate control, offering a warm and cozy ambiance throughout the night. The hotel staff graciously relocated me to another room at the charming hour of 2 am, allowing me to savor every moment of this extraordinary stay. To top it off, I had the privilege of an early check-out at 6 am, making the most of my unforgettable time at IntercityHotel Wien.
