Enjoy 2 spacious + airy bedrooms and a cute kitchen and living room in a cove-like space designed with you in mind :)The Space:Fully gutted and rehabbed recently, this garden unit apartment is perfect for a close-knit family getaway or a weekend with some good friends looking for somewhere close to O’hare, but also to the Cubs Stadium. **Please note that the ceiling height is a little lower than usual in some areas! If you are taller than 5’10”, you may need to watch your head in certain locations!**So step inside and make yourself at home! Enjoy 2 beautiful and comfy bedrooms, 1 queen in each room that can sleep two, a stocked kitchen connected to a cute living room that’s perfect to gather around in and enjoy. We also thought about the little things that matter: Coffee machines stocked for your pleasure, in-home washer & dryer prepared with detergent and dryer sheets are freely accessible, stainless steel kitchen appliances prepared for your use, and plenty of dining and work space. The bathrooms are stocked with amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of fresh towels. Kitchen is stocked with all the necessary utensils and is ready for your cookingGuest Access:The entire place is yours to enjoy!Interaction with Guests:We are off-site but nearby to help!The Neighborhood:The Karlov Connection is located on the border of 2 historic neighborhoods: Irving Park and Avondale. Imagine Irving Park like a quilt, made up of patches that weave together to form one. The Villa, Independence Park, West Walker and California Park, comprise the quilt of neighborhoods that is Irving Park. Wide boulevards, spacious tree-lined parkways with gardens, eye-catching stone flower planters at intersections, artsy and sweeping parks are some of the things you’ll see around this neighborhood.Here are a few gems around the area:Kilbourn Park - Get a breath of fresh air and enjoy an organic greenhouse, orchard, perennial garden & athletic fields.Smoque BBQ - Juicy and tender meats and pillow-soft chicken gets you inside, but the smoked brisket is what’ll make you want to never leave. Kozy’s Cyclery Megastore - Ever seen a bicycle megastore? Check out Kozy’s, an insane shop of all things bicycle and more!Getting Around:The Addison Blue Line train stop is about a 5 minute drive giving you access to O’Hare airport, Wrigleyville or straight downtown. If you’re driving, the expressway is right around the corner. You are a 20 minute drive from O’hare and 20 minutes from Wrigleyville!There is a spot in the back of our home available for you to use. If it is occupied, please let us know and we’ll get it opened up for you! There is no free street parking on Karlov Ave., but there is free street parking on the adjacent streets. Please be mindful on any signs.Other Things to Note:All of the relevant information is available in your check-in doc, which you will receive within a week of your stay.
