Overall, Grand Fiesta Coral Beach was amazing! PROs: the resort itself is always clean and well taken care of. Pools are very clean at all time and aren't overly crowded since they have many of them, sofa and seating areas are nice and comfy, location is perfect with beach to one side and pools on the other. BEACH was amazing and postcard perfect. Swim-able, kinda clear and warm. Didn't see any fishies. Luckily there weren't alot of seaweeds at the time of visit (2nd week of August). FOOD is a hit and miss with quality and available times to dine. Chianti (Italian) was quite good, Torii (Japanese) had sushi that was good and ok. Their misoo soup, matcha and ginger ice creams are amazing. Steakhouse was great as well. We had a family of 5 and order one of each cuts of steak... it was overall satisfying, but a few overcooked areas.
CONs: would primarily be the dining time. They don't transition their breakfast into lunch, therefore once their breakfast closes, your only option is taco stands, restaurant by the pool and poolside ordering. That's not entirely bad, but were didn't want to dine outdoors for the entire stay. Their buffet is quite small with food area downstairs and seating on the upper level. Due to it's size, selection is mininal and storage/display is more like home-style with items in covered pans. The buffet itself is nicely air conditioned with views that are perfect tho. Specialty dining restaurants don't open until 6pm and only serves dinner. Def Recommend!!
