Dusseldorf Madison

This was just an over night stop en route for Cologne. The room we were given had a badly stained carpet and seemed to be an older section of the hotel. The bathroom was clean but rather dated. We must have been above the kitchen area because we could hear pots and pans being banged about from quite early in the morning g. However, the breakfast was extensive and well stocked.

To recommend, but with certain conditions

I only slept one night, and I would recommend this hotel. It's true that I arrived a few hours before the official check-in time of 3:00 PM to make things easier. They made me return at 3:00 PM, and when I arrived, they still didn't have the room ready, and they were a bit disorganized about the arrival of tourists. The room is very nice; it's very close to the station, but perhaps a bit far to walk to the center, and at night, the area isn't as nice. If it's for just one night, it's a perfect place. If it's for more days, and especially if you're going with family or as a couple, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotel reception staff, police, very attentive and helpful. Room clean and quite spacious. Trams, trains & traffic noise not great but hotel in city centre so do have to expect some of this. Lots of choice with the continental breakfast. Hotel very close to main train station, Lidl supermarket is nearby, also Burgerking. Enjoyed our stay

City break weekend with friends to get some football in.. Hotel is centrally located a short walk from the main station and has a tram stop right outside. Easy to find in a nice safe neighbourhood. Friendly staff on check in and rooms were spotlessly clean, could not fault. Great selection for breakfast in the mornings too. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is perfect for public transportation. Yes, a bit noisy but the platform is literally in front of the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was perfect to begin your day. We are a family of 6 2 adults and 4 children and the staff was extremely friendly throughout our visit. The rooms could use a minor upgrade and there are no small refrigerators or aircons but we were perfectly fine without them. The price we booked for the hotel, it was absolutely worth it.

Really value for money.

Very good value for money. Close to the central station and U bahn for Messe. Close to restaurants in little Tokyo, Königsallé and resonable to Altstadt. Friendly, clean, good beds, a lot of hot water and perfectly ok breakfast.

The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. There was an excellent variety for breakfast and a good time allotment for it too. Room was slightly in need of updating and apart from the odd cobweb on the roof of the room it was clean and tidy. There was a bath but the hotel have taken all the plugs from the baths as they said people keep forgetting about them and flooding rooms, this was disapointing. It was really close to the hauptbahnhof for good transport links.
