A great place for students or people on a budget. The staff are really friendly. The location is great - things are never really more than a 20 min walk or 10 min tram ride away. However, being right in the centre means there was a lot of noise so might not be ideal for light sleepers. The stairs to the rooms are pretty narrow and steep which could be problematic for anyone with knee problems or if your'e really stoned :)

As a group of backpackers it was an amazing location and just what we needed. The room was a bit small but as described, enough shared facilities which made it feel like they were your own. Kind and helpful reception who are available to let you in round the clock even after a night out! This was perfect for a 3 night stay with the included breakfast being a lifesaver. Top floor room so shoebox in the sky lol but honestly didn’t mind it,definitely overpriced for the standard of room etc but you’re paying for the location,smack bang in the middle which is what I wanted. Only needed a bed to get the head down. I would only recommend staying here if you have been to Amsterdam before,have to say the receptionists were very helpful especially the female one I didn’t catch her name,really lovely lady

This accommodation offers a convenient and relatively inexpensive option for lodging. My single room was small, and having the washroom and shower on the floor, rather than in the room, presented some challenges. The stairs are steep, which was manageable for me, but could be difficult for someone carrying luggage up to the room. This hotel is rated one star, and it meets that description. For a one-night layover, it was excellent. I would stay here again.
