6/10 Good

We didn’t get the room we booked and suffered noise from neighbouring rooms.

6/10 Good

Under construction
It's a good concept and it would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't totally ripped apart and under construction. The fist floor we stayed on smelled really musty. The bathrooms were nice. The food boat was cute. I wish I would have been informed the boat was being renovated because I would have booked other accomodations. They should have shut down bookings during the construction. The main area and all hallways were ripped down to the studs and the flooring and ceiling were gone. I'm sure the end product is going to look nice but it felt misleading they didn't have a disclaimer on there website about the construction anywhere.

4/10 Fair

The hotel is niche and a little different from the norm which is cool, we stayed in loft room T. The hotel can be accessed relatively easy from central station on a free ferry. The entire hotel is being renovated currently so there were lots of tradesmen making and noise and walking about, the hotel gave us a drink voucher as an apology! Check in was shockingly bad, we ended up waiting about 40 minutes to get the keys and were really given no information only that we had to wait a few more minutes. The room was spacious with the exception of the bathroom which was tiny. The room had two huge round windows with a great view however one of the windows had no blind or curtain which was not ideal as it was incredibly bright in the mornings or if the lights were on you could see in. I think the worst thing about the stay was the bed, the mattress was comfortable however the base of the bed was a thin metal that surrounded the mattress which made getting in and out of the bed incredibly uncomfortable.

2/10 Poor

No No No No No!
The worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Walls were torn apart, public rooms separated by curtains, no common room for visiting, beds in dorms were too too close, room was stuffy, blanket was flimsy, breakfast was served in an altogether different place, workmen busy and loud on Easter Sunday morning ... need I go on?

Amsterdam visit
Unfortunately when we arrived & during our stay the Botel was under refurbishment, carpets not laid, amenities not available, breakfast & bar opposite in another ship. Luckily it didn't spoil our stay but would have been nice to have been informed prior to booking, as it wasn't the cheapest option

8/10 Very Good

Room was better than expected. Had a cosy vibe with a lovely bed and plenty of space for a cabin on a boat. Nice sea view, which was also great for checking the nearby ferries to the centre. Communal areas could do with abit of an update but you're not there to stay in the corridor! Staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the B room, it was amazing! Awesome half pipe, insane views from the each side, the bed was so comfy too. The boatel is so easy to get to, and the ferry to the centre is right outside - couldn’t be closer!
