I enjoyed my stay. The rooftop pool was about 6 ft deep & warm. The room is really spacious & super clean. The facilities could make some minor changes like update the pool tile, replace outside chairs, and renovate the elevator. There’s also a spa downstairs which was absolutely a good time & reasonably priced for the services. All in all I would stay here again. This place is a few feet from 5th avenue & 20mins for Xplor park.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony looked into an atrium, although the music from the main floor would echo up in the morning, and it was quite loud. Beach/pool towels were already in the room, which was very convenient. On the downside, we were not able to get hot water in the shower.

Arturo also had amazing customer service. always made me feel welcomed and was willing to provide great customer service. went beyond to assist me in any way possible. Hola The staff was very nice and the location perfect and good rate. My toilet was broken I had to get it fixed and the hot water was not working yesterday but worked today. This morning I went downstairs to get a water but I couldn’t - I had 500 pesos and a credit card but the person working wanted me to have smaller change. I had to leave the hotel to get a water.

Overall nice place was very upset when checking out as they charged 750 pesos for a small quarter size mark on the sheet that I could have removed myself and they will remove. There is no need to charge 60 US dollars for something like that. Due to that one incident I will not be returning there as you do not treat your guests like that.

Soul Beach was the perfect choice for my stay in Playa. It’s was the perfect location to entertainment, food and the beach. The room was amazing and the hotel staff was great also. The only down fall was the rooftop pool and bar closes too earlier they close it at 8pm. The other rooftop around are open late and have live entertainment. But Soul Beach rooftop does have music just need to stay open later. But overall I rate this hotel a 4.5/5!

Second time there
The front desk brown guy has terrible customer service skills, he is very rude, unrespectful and helpless, he yields and swears aloud in Spanish compleining about guests and how now he has to pay his “worker meal” and more, he is slow and miss details in check in. The security staff is amazing and the best! They helped me with internet matters that the receptionist didn’t care. It was my second stay there, I love the location and the rooms, however this time one bed missed clean sheets and had previous guest’s hair,if I were with another traveller I would ask the dirty bed to be changed and clean. I hope next time front desk and housekeeper staff do better their tasks. I love the location and that’s why o go there.

Water pressure and amount of hot water is horrible for this property even after they came and "fixed" the issue it was only slightly better. I left desiring a hot shower. Noise can echo through the building sometimes but not an issue to sleep. The bed is comfortable and linens were very clean. Wifi never worked in my room.

No hot water/no water pressure.
Believe others when they say there is no hot water and no water pressure. If you stay in a room with a tub, it is for show only- again no hot water and no water pressure to fill the thing up to actually take a bath. When no hot water was reported I was told I should have turned the handle the other way- I tried that and waited minutes for hot water to appear- and it never did. There is so little water pressure it will actually stop running altogether despite being on. I’ve stayed in this area oF PDC many times. I won’t return to this particular property again.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. Upon check in we proceed to the room. After opening the door the smell of mold was so strong and over powering. Air conditioning did not work. The faucet had NO RUNNING WATER. Shower glass was full of stains and had not been cleaned. Horrible experience with the staff as they could not speak English. Did not stay in the room for longer then 10 minutes and was still charged for 3 nights with no refund. STAY AWAY!!! I have videos... Does anyone know how to upload?
