The staff were outstanding. Even though they meet thousands of guest they acknowledged me by my name when i approached them. They were very helpful answering questions and giving suggestions. Their tour team made sure we got to do what we wanted. I will go back for another fun fill week.

The wait staff on the beach, especially Jose, was the best we have ever had and we have been to Cancun 25 times. All of the staff was wonderful which made this trip special. The beach is incredible and the rooms were remodeled nicely. Another big plus for me is that they had excellent decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast which is highly unusual anywhere in the Carribean, I usually settle for a packet of Sanka and hot water or bring my own and make it in the room. The live entertainment in the lobby nightly was also a nice touch. The 2 negatives are the pool is small and taken over by children so we spent every day on the beach. The rooms are lovely and have a great view of the most beautiful ocean but they do not have actual balconies that you can sit on and enjoy your morning coffee and evening drink. The only balconies are on the lagoon side.

The amenities on this property were less than sub par. There was construction which meant lots of banging, the beds were very uncomfortable, the food, well let’s say that you could have eaten cardboard and it would have had more flavor. I will say that the staff was great at the property, one thing that we did not like was right after you check in you are told to complete the process by taking to additional staff and come to find out it was only to try and get you to buy into their time shares. We received phone calls to our room as well from them trying to sell us things. The view from our room was the best thing about this hotel and the beach was amazing as well, I will say that this was the first and absolute last time we will ever stay at this resort, if a resort is even what you should call it…

Location for this resort is great. Walking distance to the entertainment area. Staff was friendly. This resort is lacking some basic necessities such as dinner buffet. Only 2 nights is there a dinner buffet, the rest you have to wait to be seated and there can be a long wait to eat. No swim up bar and only 1 pool. Great entertainment and fun nightly shows for free. Don't be surprised by the high hotel fees and taxes upon arriving, much higher than the rest.
