They tried to charge me a ripped blanket, the restroom had mold the door didnt close restroom had used paper toilet and when i asked for towels they told me they cleaned the rooms every 3 days and they could not give me any towels when i check out the desk man was angry because i didnt leave tip for cleaning but what tip if they didnt clean any during my stay neither gave me towels to shower very bad experience

The room had an odd odour and it was in deplorable conditions, it also did not have amenities (shampoo, soap, etc) we approached the receptionist to inform her and asked for a different room. Still, she wasn't helpful nor with any customer service and only called the cleaning staff over to explain that there was nothing they could do. They exchanged our room for a smaller one, which had gum in the wall

great value and location. my only complaint is i left my airpods in the room along with a charging block and cord. since im able to track my airpods, when i couldn’t find them a couple of hours after leaving the hotel i found out that they are in a neighborhood in Cancun. obviously an employee grabbed them and took them home rather than waiting to see if they were reported missing.

You get what you pay for. Not quiet AT ALL, music is blasting until 3AM every night. There was construction on site or close by that started at 8AM which would loud rumbling. They told us that if the towels or sheets got dirty that we will be charged full price for them. This place is the definition of Landlord Special, everything is painted over and looks like it needs work. The shower had no door so the bathroom floor would become a huge mess and they would say to just leave it because if you used their towel and it got dirty then you had to pay for it. We stayed for 5 nights and not once did we get room service or get it cleaned up. The garbage was never taken and wouldn’t get the bed done and wouldn’t even get toilet paper checked on. Even with having the “Fix Room” sign hanging on the door. There is no breakfast or meals onsite, no microwave and no parking. Luckily there was AC, Fridge and Tv.

This was back packing experience for us on our honeymoon. We got the flight and hotel booked through Expedia in Mexico the night before going. In expensive has been the way we have gone throughout our trip.This may have been the Jewel of the Nile years ago but definitely not now. Plusses air conditioning, fridge in room, two minute walk to the beach, and close to all the shopping and food you can handle on 5th. Of the four in expensive hotels we have stayed at this has our lowest rating. The hotel we are at now is cheaper but 1000% better in every aspect you can imaging except for surrounding area. Hotel at now feels like new or freshly renevated. Casa Tortuga 5th feels renevated 30 years ago with minimal updates since then left to just take in money with guests wanting to be in Play del Carmen. Place isnt horrible, just not the opposite,it's right in the middle. If your there as we were to see and experience and travel and do in Playa del Carmen and all you want is a reasonable place inexpensive to rest your head with air conditioning then this will be ok. Its clean and room service in the morning its just old and tired now. Truly great location! If you find inexpensive package while in Mexico with this place and what you want is go snorkeling, scuba diving see pyramid go in cenote and a lot of other stuff anf just need a clean place to rest your head with air conditioning(as you need it here) then this will be fine

Solo el baño es el único pero, el agua de la regadera pierde presión después de unos segundos, la regadera y las paredes tenían cabellos (parece que los limpian con el trapeador que asean el resto de los cuartos) El cuarto olía un poco a humedad y estaba pegado a la recepción, me chuté las pláticas de 2-3 días del personal con compañer@s o con huéspedes, desde las 5-6am.

Dos noches seguidas una verdadera discoteque arriba de la habitacion hasta las 5 de la mañana,a mi llegada me cobraron de mas,las toallas agujerafas y mi check out tarde 30 min porque mi acompañante se le incharon los pies y me querian cobrar otro dia x 30 min un verdadero infierno,cero recomendable un asco todo desde el personal instalaciones trato y estancia jamas vuelvo ahi
