Excellence from start to finish in every respect. Attentive staff without being over bearing. Lovely ambience. Well appointed, spacious room (even though it was only the ‘standard’ level) Excellent breakfast in a great setting overlooking Lake Windermere followed by a stroll around the grounds with beautiful views of the Lake District National Park. We stayed for one night just for a break the hotel was lovely inside and out a very relaxing place to stay the staff we came across were friendly and especially Olivia on the reception desk from arriving to leaving nothing was too much even ringing us so we didn’t miss breakfast overall a very pleasant place to stay and would definitely stay again

Lovely 4 star hotel on the lake. Room was spacious and clean. Food was excellent in the bistro and breakfast. One of the best cooked to order full English ever. Food Service was first rate. Lobby area and external of the building needed some TLC… the reception staff could been more friendly more like the bistro, breakfast and cleaning staff. Small last comment but first impressions count.
