The refrigerator quit working and told the front desk they said a maintenance person I’ll check out the next day and never did when we was there and the Air conditioner I wasn’t working right And there were roaches in the room and there was a pee stain over the bed protector

Unsatisfied guest, issue with cleanliness of room
Upon arrival, the frontdesk clerk wasn't very welcoming. She didn't ask if I wanted my card on flie to be charged. She charged my card before myself and my husband wanted to pay half anf half for our stay. She reverse the charge and told me my card won't be charged for the entire stay. We checked into our room looked like the floor hadn't been swept, bed sheets had stains and toilet was dirty. We ask the frontdesk clerk for clean sheets, she stated that housekeeping was gone for the day and we had to wait until the next day. Nonetheless, my husband and I went to Wal-Mart to purchase clean sheets, pillow cases and comforter. We tried to enjoy our stay since we were already checked in. As of today Monday, August 1, 2022 I haven't seen any credit back onto my card. It was our first anniversary of being married and I wanted everything to be perfect. I come from a background of hospitality, as you are the first face when guest walk-in there should be nothing more than undivided attention and warm welcoming. Seems as though the frontdesk clerk was there for a paycheck. Overall I was disappointed during my stay.

I own a cleaning business and I would Of never left a room in these conditions. There were flys everywhere when I walked in, sand all over the floor, Sand on the beds and blood on the shower curtain. I was there for a family members funereal so I didn’t want to complain and cause an uproar but I was very disappointed. I would definitely stay again if it were cleaner because the location and convenience were perfect. Thank you for listening to my concerns

When we first checked in our first room had park view, was moldy, bathroom was filthy, two roaches came to visit also, the AC was very weak, the room was dark come to find out light bulbs were missing. I inquired twice about moving and upgrading and made it very clear I'm willing to pay more with two different front desk employees. Both times I was denied, the reason was all rooms were booked. On our third day I asked again because our room was not bearable and we only go to the beach once a summer and I wanted to make our stay is the best for our family. It was on the third day we asked again and met an Angel named Erica. Erica asked all the things that was making us unhappy and went straight to work. I could go on and on about how Erica gave us a comforting feeling that she's doing her best, the end result proved she made an effort. Erica moved us to a much cleaner room, AC worked well, and on and on... Every-time we saw her smiling face in the lobby for breakfast she kept inquiring how she can make things better for us as she understands we only come to the beach once a year, now that's going above and beyond.
