Beautiful renovation, extremely high resort fees
This is our second time staying at the hotel, first time after the renovation. They did a great job with they style, decor and service. Our only complaint was we booked a villa so we could have a jacuzzi and it was broken half the time we were there. Once they fixed it, it still had algae in it and we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Other than that the staff was great, helpful and very nice. The resort fees are insane so make sure you calculate that into your stay.

It is a beautiful hotel and the room was very comfortable. The food offerings were delicious and the area with the pools was large. Made for a perfect desert getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

Property expansive; one gets lost inside hotel due to the corridors going in all directions. Staff were friendly and polite, a lost art in Palm Springs. One thing that spoiled the two nights we stayed: the bathroom had the smell of human sewage coming from pipes or under the toilet. Reported it. No offer to exchange rooms. Fortunately, the smell stayed in the bathroom. They did wave the parking and resort fees. But the caliber of Hyatt should have been more responsive. Too many other grand hotels to choose from.

The pool and waterslide area is pretty good. The lazy river was murky and too hot. The pool area has a few free chairs but is mostly pay to use reserved beds. We stayed 3 nights and I was charged $740 EXTRA for basically nothing! We did not charge any food, coffee etc. to the room. I don’t have a statement of charges yet as I assumed I would not have any charges but I was charged $740 which must be for resort fees and parking, that is it!!
