This place is fantastic. It's directly in the village but there's a resort shuttle to get you there (10 minutes away). Plenty of food options on site, we mostly used the coffee/mini mart shop. But dinner was great at Sandy's. It has a walk to lift right there and a ski check for convenience. I doubt I'll stay anywhere else on our next trip back to Palisades.

I really wanted to like this resort but it was a huge let down. I saw it on an instagram post for families/kids and decided to do my son's big 10 year old trip there. I don't know if there was a change in management or personnel but there was a huge miscommunication between all staff. Lets start with the pros: The resort itself is gorgeous, the setting is breathtaking. We stayed in a penthouse and the view every morning waking up was EVERYTHING. They had several hot tubs which were nice especially in the evening. The cons: Really it was the staff and the miscommunication. It started at check in, everyone gave us different answers about the regular penthouse and deluxe, and really just about everything in general. The pool with the slide looked really dirty and turned out to be closed, I asked front desk about it and they said it was on a request basis that they will open it up, when we did make that request, they said that the water filters weren't working. That was a huge bummer because it was one of the biggest reasons we booked the hotel. The main pool fluctuates in temperature, the first day it was SUPER cold. The last day we were there, it was finally warm. The front desk lady told us they had activities for kids, when we went to the rec department he said they actually do not have things yet just some outdoor games he could put out. If you are going to book the hotel, get the deluxe version of whatever you book, it makes a difference and call ahead about the pool.

The dining (especially the Six Peaks Grille) and room accommodations were fantastic, complemented by great service that made our stay even more enjoyable. After exhilarating days on the slopes, we relished satisfying meals and comfortable relaxation. The spa, fitness center, and swimming pool were perfect for unwinding after our adventures. A caveat to note: the nearby lift is only suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers. If you're at those levels, you're in for a treat! We're already looking forward to our next visit to this exquisite destination!

Views were great, the room was very nice. There isnt much to do at the resort, so you have to travel. If you want food you better eat in tahoe, the cafe is very expensive and not worth the price. The restaurants were ok but be prepared to spend money.
