The room was fine, but the bathroom Had a bit of a funk smell to it & the headboard needed a better clean. The location isn’t bad, but it’s a bit of a walk or bus ride to the main part of town, but a good central spot. I wouldn’t stay here again as feel there’s better value in other hotels, but it served its purpose, I wouldn’t say avoid it, but you can probably find better?

Had a great stay at this lovely hotel close to Kyoto Station! Amenities could be found on the main floor near check in though tea was provided in the room. Bed was comfortable and AC was powerful to cool down after all the walking in the humid weather. It's really close to a couple laundromats (they have their own laundry but we found less waiting in the independent facilities), and while they don't have breakfast in house, there's a fantastic restaurant called Nakau across from the station for really tasty breakfast.

Service was awesome! There was a slight language barrier but staff were quick to use Google translate so we got any questions/needs resolved quickly and courteously. The only downside of this place is how small the room is, but the room size is understandable for Japan especially for the location right next to Kyoto station. We would definitely stay here again!
