A great place to stay right across from the main entrance to Kyoto station. Which has so much to offer and lots of fun to explore. Easy check in at the Hotel with no self check in which was wonderful. Our room was a great size with a nice big window. It is so easy to explore Kyoto from here as it is very convenient. Great location just across the street from the train station and malls. Spacious room and very nice buffet breakfast. Only inconvenience is that the Japanese breakfast is on a different floor from the western breakfast. Other than that, great place to stay.

Old style hotel in a busy area near the station. Convenient to stay one night but doesn’t show the charm of the rest of Kyoto. Breakfast was very good and the staff are good. Hotel could do with a bit of a refurb.

6/10 Good

Very Convenient to the train station. Great service and nice staff. Hotel is outdated and very small but again location location location. Grabbing an uber is a challenge because there is some type of geonet that forces Ubers to pick up blocks away. Hotel is going out of business which stinks.
