Minha estadia no Hotel Dom teve o básico atendido, com a limpeza do quarto e o café da manhã dentro do esperado. No entanto, a experiência foi severamente prejudicada por problemas de manutenção e pela total falta de transparência da administração. O ar condicionado do meu quarto estava com defeito, pingando água pela parede. Porém, o pior de tudo foi a questão da internet, que simplesmente não funciona em nenhum dos quartos. O mais grave é que o hotel já tinha pleno conhecimento dessa falha estrutural e, em absolutamente nenhum momento durante o processo de reserva, isso foi informado aos hóspedes. O único local com algum sinal de Wi-Fi é a recepção, o que gera uma cena absurda de várias pessoas sentadas por lá, improvisando um escritório para conseguir trabalhar. Como eu precisava trabalhar do meu quarto, fui obrigado a rotear a conexão do meu celular e acabei consumindo praticamente todo o meu pacote de dados móveis. A omissão de um problema tão sério mostra um grande desrespeito com o consumidor. Não recomendo para quem precisa de conexão.

Apesar da curta estadia e do clima chuvoso no Rio, o hotel está em uma localização estratégica para quem for aos eventos na região do Parque Olímpico (no meu caso, a Farmasi Arena). Um destaque especial para a equipe de recepcionistas, sempre cordiais e atenciosos às demandas dos hóspedes. Contudo, dado o horário do meu voo de retorno, a distância do hotel para o Galeão e o receio de enfrentar engarrafamentos durante o longo percurso, optei por fazer o check-out antes das 06h e abrir mão do café da manhã (incluso na reserva). A título de sugestão, nesses casos, o hotel poderia considerar disponibilizar um pequeno kit com alguns itens de café da manhã para ser levado "na viagem". Um gesto de gentileza/cortesia que tornaria ainda mais agradável a experiência do hóspede. No mais, recomendo a estadia no hotel.

Sempre me hospedo no Dom Barra, dessa vez argumentaram que a reserva estava para quarto de casal, mesmo eu mostrando a reserva quarto twin, pediram para aguardar para resolverem , sempre peço quarto longe do elevador e sou atendida, dessa vez me colocaram em frente ao elevador, o ar condicionado com defeito, não desligava e a palheta quebrada, porta do banheiro com mola quebrada , box que inundava e um travesseiro péssimo, foi só por uma noite, mas é a primeira vez que isso acontece, parece que pegaram o pior quarto e me deram . Que pena, porque sempre fui só elogios para com o hotel
