This hotel is definitely not worth the price. The room was not comfortable at all, with bed linens that were dingy and worn out. The AC in room 930 was leaking water and making a terrible noise. The wood laminate flooring was scuffed and looked dirty, and there wasn't even a rug by the bed. Service was also a major letdown. On one of the days, our room wasn't cleaned; we returned at 4 PM and had to go downstairs to ask for fresh towels because we had already discarded ours. At breakfast, we had to wait for a table, and the orange juice was from a carton, not fresh. A few more things to note: The Pool: It is tiny—it fits maybe 6 people at most. The Entrance: It is actually not on Avenida Atlântica, which is misleading. Honestly, at this price point, you are better offstaying at an Ibis. Rio has better options at this price point and location (Windsor California and Porto Bay for example).
