I already wrote you that this hotel is more for backpackers not for an elderly person like I am. The shower and washplace was all wet and very simple. The erea is very primitiv and the ear was so polluted. I decided right away to next day back to Thailand. I was very disappointed.

Not bad if you’re on a budget
We booked for two nights but upon arrival asked to book for a third night (it was cheaper to book direct but they were full our first two nights and so we were still happy we had booked online). If you stay three nights you get free waterfall entry tickets. The hotel also organised our shared mini bus there. The waterfalls are amazing! As we added an extra night on and the hotel was full. We spent our first night in a small double room on the first floor on the front of the property which was small and had noise from the street (I just slept with ear plugs in). We then moved to a much nicer, much larger room on the back of the property on the ground floor. These are the best rooms by far with no noise. Breakfast was ok. I’m surviving off various forms of egg and bread for breakfasts in Asia (as I just can’t eat noodles/rice/dumplings first thing in a morning!). They have baguettes and make fried / scrambled eggs fresh. Coffee and water etc is available 24hrs. Location is ok. We are at Amigos just a one minute walk away and had great fajitas and also had a nice late night meal at Le Bistro two doors down with live music on.

Nice Stay, trouble finding location
I enjoyed staying here. The room itself with shared bathroom was on the lower level and did not have any windows it did have a fan to the outside for ventilation. With all wood paneling it reminded me of a boat cabin, to some this might not be to their taste. I was recovering from Dengue fever and the darkness and coolness of the room was quite agreeable to me. The included breakfast was really nice and had a very food selection every day. Water, coffee, and tea was always available. This is very important to me as I always try to refill my water bottle and never purchase plastic bottles. Even if you are refilling your plastic bottle it saves you from constantly having to buy water and create plastic waste. The only problem I had with the hotel was finding it. I first went to the location google maps had pinpointed and that was not it, then I went to the hotel that Hotels.com/expedia had pinpointed and that was not it either. So that guesthouse looked at the address and sent me to a different location which was also not it, but they pointed me in the right direction so I think this happens often. I was sick and super irritated after walking around for an hour trying to find the place. Of course this is not their fault but when I did stumble upon their was no signage anywhere indicating a name or that it was a hotel, it just looked like a restaurant, but I recognized the aquarium inside from the pictures on the website.

They offered a ride to the hotel. There was water to refill and coffee all day. My room was very small, the carpet and the towel were very worn out. The shower was in the room, smelled, the toilet was outside. Tons of mosquitoes since there was no screen on the window. The room was very small. I moved to another hotel for $1 more and it was 20 times better.

Exercise caution
On arrival we were told the room we booked was not available (despite the room still appearing as still available online, and the manager having confirmed our booking). We were taken to another hotel "villa kiengkham" owned by the same manager, where we needed to make two phone calls to the manager to request sheets for the bed. We pointed out that this second hotel was listed at a lower price point online to the hotel and room we had originally booked (and was rated lower)- the manager advised us that if we were unhappy with the change we could cancel online (and pay a cancellation fee). We observed similar things occurring to two other groups of guests during our stay. This left us in an uncomfortable position, risking not having a room for the night.
