No breakfast as advertised
Disappointed, as the advertisement on hotel.com states that breakfast was included in the price, however on arrival was told that it did not

Cold room no heating. No hairdryer, no bedside tables. Noisy. Beautiful building
Lisa, 1-night trip

A nice little hotel but it is a bar with a 1am licence, this means of a saturday night i stayed there was alot of sound leakage, i recon midweek it probably calmer, the riom was nice and i had a heavy discount thanks to this site loyalty so well worth the £17 i paid,
Isaac, 1-night trip

Really noisy throughout night- lots of car horns in the area, late night talking and doors banging in the hotel/pub. Pub is the oldest in West Midlands and seems very popular, but area immediately opposite is run down and ready for re development.

The Old Crown is far & away the oldest property I've ever stayed at. It's a really neat piece of history.
Scott, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

One very badly lit room. The curtains were torn in the bedroom. Bathroom had no curtains or blinds so light was coming into the room from early morning. Over priced for what is a poor quality room.

The room was adequate for our one night but needed for it to be en-suite.

Pumping music and a cheap nights stay!
No parking as advertised when I booked a year ago. It's basically a night club in the garden, so just be aware it wasn't a quiet stay. The communal bathrooms were very clean and a great shower. Nice pub downstairs. All in All good value for the night

Fabulous
Always stay here when in Bham fab pub fab atmosphere and Roy and Jo are fabulous an absolute credit to your hotel thanks for the chat and cup of tea 😁
Jane, 1-night trip

This is the oldest pub in Birmingham, the refurbishment is excellent keeping with history of pub. Rooms are lovely. Location fab. The sub is lively at night and has a large covered garden playing music late into the night. Loved it.
