Our 7 nights at this hotel was great. The reception and service staff were excellent. So were the housekeeping staff. It is very centrally located (but off a busy street) and close to restaurants and all modes of transport - the Metro was just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the clean, spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, welcoming and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, and convenient location close to the metro stop. We stayed at the Forward at the beginning of our trip and when we returned to Taipei at the end of our trip we cancelled our booking at a different hotel and returned to the Forward, which was far superior and less expensive.

Great location! Just 300m from MRT station. Quiet and friendly area. Clean and spacious room, great value. Mostly Japanese, Korean and Hong Kong visitors. Breakfast is fine.

Very good hotel for the pricing. I really relaxed in a bath tab. I recommend to those who love to relax in a bathtub. The views from the room windows are an elementary school building. (The website say “city view “ but actually “school view) I didn’t hear any voices and noises during my stay. I also enjoyed very quiet time there. I would love to recommend this hotel in Taipei downtown.
