"Everything was very clean, and it was a nice stay. Wish there was more cafe or restaurant options as the area nearby is kind of sparse, but it was easy enough to take the airport shuttle to the airport, then either eat there or take a train into the nearby town. stayed a few days to enjoy the larger than average for the price rooms, and the clean and useful amenities. would definitely stay again just to be close to the airport when leaving."

"A delicious nutritious breakfast is included, incredibly clean, there’s a convenient store right inside the lobby, and staff are nice and understanding even if you don’t speak Japanese. I even made the mistake of forgetting to check out properly at the machine at the front desk cause I was ina hurry to catch a flight, yet they were understanding enough to check me out manually and didn’t charge me extra after I had emailed them about my situation. Really great hotel, would recommend it to anyone, especially for the price to quality ratio!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Narita

  1. Book for the cheapest times: For those planning a trip on a budget, the months of January, February, and September present an affordable opportunity to visit Narita, as hotels may offer lower prices during these periods. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days ensures great value for money while allowing time to explore the city's key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. Enjoy a variety of budget-friendly experiences including temple visits, traditional shopping, dining, guided tours, cosy cafes, festivals, sightseeing, and visits to monuments and other culturally significant sites.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Narita on Hotels.com, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com could keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you save on your getaway. The Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're updated on any changes in availability or pricing for your preferred hotels, so you can seize opportunities as they arise.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Narita hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you possibly find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre typically cost more; however, thanks to Narita's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel situated further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
