The neighborhood blends Latin American flavors and a historic Jewish community vibe, creating a cultural mix that feels authentic rather than touristy. Art Deco buildings and the Normandy Fountain give the area its distinctive character, while North Shore Open Space Park provides a green escape. Seafood restaurants and Cuban cafés line the walkable streets, serving everything from budget-friendly local eats to oceanfront dining. Mid-range boutique hotels and vacation rentals housed in colorful Art Deco buildings make for comfortable stays. Getting around is easy with frequent bus service to South Beach and downtown Miami.
Flamingo/Lummus
Flamingo/Lummus delivers the quintessential South Beach experience with a side of pure Miami magic. The Art Deco Historic District's colorful buildings stand like pastel sentinels leading to pristine white sand beaches. Ocean Drive buzzes with energy as tourists snap photos of the iconic architecture. Collins Avenue Shopping Area beckons shoppers while Española Way charms with its Mediterranean vibe. The neighborhood serves up dining options from upscale oceanfront restaurants to casual Cuban cafeterias. Boutique hotels housed in historic Art Deco buildings offer rooftop pools with ocean views. Getting around is a breeze with the free Miami Beach Trolley and excellent walkability connecting you to all the action.

Miami Beach City Center
Miami Beach City Center dazzles with neon-lit Art Deco buildings, rooftop lounges, and white sand beaches just steps away. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it!"
1 Hotel South Beach
"Everything about this hotel is AMAZING especially the staff! I definitely recommend this hotel, I can’t wait to come back with my kiddos!"
The Palms Hotel & Spa
"This hotel has some great attributes, and not-so-great ones. Valet parking of $50/night (plus tip) is outrageous whether or not it is on par with other hotels in the area. The best non-valet option is using the 42nd Street garage for $8/night, but that is a 20 minute walk. Price was $259. Room was ready before 4pm check-in, but we had to wait 20 minutes to get the key because the only person at Front Desk was with another guest. Rooms was small, but clean and tasteful. Bed was comfortable. Beach staff, lounge chairs, umbrellas are all excellent and well worth the $42/day fee. There is also a really nice tiki area. Elevators are the biggest problem - only one was working and it was small. After waiting for 15 minutes, we took the stairs down 9 floors with our bags so we could check out by 11. At the bottom, the key did not access the lobby, so we went down 2 more floors to the street and walked around to re-enter the building. Bitter ending to an otherwise great stay."

"i loved Moxy hotel and will be staying there again! Very convenient, clean and wonderful staff."

"Great and affordable place to stay with a great staff"
