THE WILDLIFE
There are animals around the premises including many deer, foxes, multiple species of raptors and other birds, armadillos, many rabbits, black bears, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, coyotes and more! You won’t see all of these at the cabin, but if you get out on the trails, you might get lucky...
MOUNTAIN LIVING
1. We are located just shy of 7,000 feet so please drink plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness.
2. Sometimes the wind kicks up to remind us of all the things we cannot control, but it usually settles down again within a few hours. You would be best not to leave belongings outside.
3. Wildlife is somewhat rare but has been known to wander through so please do not leave food outside at night.
4. Be prepared with lots of clothing layers so you can adapt to changing conditions. Storms come and go quickly.

Our home is located in a remote, mountain town. As visitors to the area, please think about your impact on our town and the small surrounding communities. Please respect full-time residents' privacy and solitude. Follow Leave No Trace guidelines when visiting and recreating in the beautiful outdoors, and consider supporting local dining and shopping during your stay.
SMOKING/VAPING
We like to keep our cabins as fresh as the outside alpine air. If you need to smoke or vape, you'll need to step outside to do so. There will be a $600 fine for any smoking inside the cabins

We are accessible year-round. Our home is located on a county road that gets plowed when there's snow; however, we still recommend AWD with good tire tread in the snowy months (generally December to April). Winter driving conditions on the highways leading to the home can change rapidly, so check the weather before heading out.

BEDROOMS
This stunning home offers 3 separate bedrooms, each uniquely designed to provide maximum comfort for your stay.
Bedroom 1 is located on the upper floor and features a luxurious King-sized bed and ample closet space to store all your belongings. You'll wake up feeling refreshed and energized, ready to take on the day's adventures.
Adjacent to bedroom 1 is bedroom 2, which also features a cozy King-sized bed and plenty of closet space. This bedroom is ideal for couples or individuals who want their own private sanctuary while still being in close proximity to the rest of the group.
For families or larger groups, bedroom 3 located on the lower floor is the perfect space. This room features 2 sets of bunk beds, each with a full-sized mattress, providing sleeping space for up to 4 people. The room is thoughtfully designed with plenty of space to move around and store belongings.
The home features two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bathroom boasts a standalone, enclosed but spacious shower and a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day of adventure. The full bathroom located downstairs is thoughtfully designed with a walk-in shower for convenience and accessibility.
LIVING, DINING & KITCHEN AREA
Ascend to the upper floor of this retreat and be greeted by a bright and airy space that's perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. DOWNSTAIRS
Here will you find the laundry room, a bathroom, and a family/living room area. We have provided games for you to enjoy and a designated office space with a large desk if you have work needs. Perfect for work from home! There is also a TV in here. A foosball and ping pong table is available for recreation over the garage.
OUTDOOR SPACE
The views from our large second floor deck are breathtaking. Have a seat to relax with a cup of coffee, grill a meal on our weber grill, and enjoy your outdoor dining with views for miles and miles.
There is a short hiking trail in the backyard that leads to a beautiful overview. Be careful since it can be a little steep if you don't have the proper footwear.
Transit is virtually non-existent here. To get around you will need to rent a car or use Uber/Lyft.
