Getting around is easiest on foot or bike, though metro buses connect to downtown LA and Hollywood.

Westwood
Westwood buzzes with collegiate energy, where UCLA's sprawling campus meets the charm of Westwood Village. Catch a basketball game at Pauley Pavilion, browse thought-provoking exhibits at the Hammer Museum, or catch a movie at the historic Fox Theater. The tree-lined streets blend student hangouts with sophisticated spots that attract both campus crowds and culture seekers. Dining options range from casual student favorites to upscale restaurants along Wilshire Boulevard, with a notable concentration of Persian eateries. Though parking can be tricky, the area is wonderfully walkable with excellent bus connections to greater Los Angeles. Accommodations vary from luxury high-rises to boutique properties perfect for university visitors.

Koreatown
Koreatown serves up a feast for all your senses with Korean BBQ joints that sizzle late into the night. Karaoke lounges and traditional jjimjilbangs (Korean spas) keep the energy flowing 24/7. The iconic Wiltern Theatre anchors this cultural hotspot while Koreatown Plaza buzzes with shoppers hunting for authentic Korean goods. Korean American National Museum adds a dash of cultural depth to your visit. Dining options range from hole-in-the-wall gems to upscale Korean fusion spots where the kimchi never disappoints. Getting around is a breeze with two Metro stations—Wilshire-Western and Wilshire-Normandie—connecting you to downtown LA and beyond. Holiday Inn Los Angeles - LAX Airport by IHG
"Wonderfully kept property is a great location. Easy access to trains and taxi service. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast buffet. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!"
The Biltmore Los Angeles
"The hotel is a museum, fantastic history, but the room was not bad and the bathroom was small and poorly maintained. Otherwise it is a wonderful hotel and location! We will definitely stay there again! By the way, the staff was absolutely fantastic, everyone was very warm and friendly and ready to assist!"
Sonesta Los Angeles Airport LAX
"Lovely hotel walking distance from restaurants. Breakfast and dinner was very good"
Moxy Downtown Los Angeles
"it’s was amazing stayed with my wife she loved the pool area the room was super clean and everything worked great i recommend everyone to stay here"
Hyatt Place LAX/Century Blvd
"The room and location was perfect for our needs. Cleanliness and comfort was GREAT. The only issue we had upon check in is that you aren't allowed to park in front during check in - they have it closed off. We had to pay to park our rental and check in only to move our luggage to our room and then drop off the rental. I do not want to pay for parking ONLY to check in. There is an airport shuttle service that leaves on the hour and half hour all day long. It gets full quickly so we couldn't use it at 6am since it was full of luggage and couldn't fit ours. We ended up using another shuttle around the corner and that worked. There was no time to check out the fitness center so I cannot comment. The pool area was lovely and we left too early to enjoy the breakfast. I would stay here again based on the room comfort, cleanliness, and the proximity to LAX."
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles
"Room cleaning ladies are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean."

For those keen to explore the city’s rich history, culture, and iconic landmarks, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This timeframe allows for ample opportunity to enjoy key attractions such as theatres, live music venues, museums, and remarkable architecture. With plenty of affordable options available, this visit could offer great value for money while immersing oneself in the vibrant urban scene of Los Angeles.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Los Angeles, consider visiting the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on accommodations as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com, you could find out about flash sales and special last-minute promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to plan a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Los Angeles hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may present better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could offer a more affordable option to help you discover a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Los Angeles's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further away that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
