Great place to stay but very poor wifi
Great location and good access to public transportation. The bedrooms in the accommodation we had were comfortable and well decorated with ample storage space. The kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen items you could possibility need with the added benefit of a washing machine and dishwasher. Only issues were the wifi being very poor and that there was no info on how to use the digital thermostat. The wifi would connect but keep dropping/disconnecting to the point we gave up trying to use it. This also affected the digital tv.

Wonderful apartment. Very cosy, very clean. Decoration is beautiful and everything you might need is ready for you. We had a studio without view (which means there are no windows at all), but it was perfectly ventilated and that didn’t bother us at all (except checking the weather in the morning maybe). Our only complaint is that the bed was a bit small (1m40) for 2 people. We also didn’t receive the correct room number and our code to enter the building was wrong. It would have been tricky if we did arrive as planned late at night.

Great location close to bus and train station. We had a room overlooking the garden. Nice view, very quiet except for heating/vent system. Great kitchen. Nice to be able to do laundry. Only downside to the room was queen bed.

Even though you do have a code, there is someone on property for a number of hours during the day. Only downsides, communication was difficult and lacking, and the twin bed in the twin room was uncomfortable for an adult.

The staff was amazing and checking in was very easy and pleasant The property was really lovely and located in best area of Edinburgh. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The only negative was that there were no windows and because it was in the basement, the apartment required to be equipped with air vents and circulation which was very noisy and it could not be turned down and the sleep was disturbed. Overall it was very nice and large apartment in great location.

Sonder apartment is very well placed and was really comfortable. Has all you need. My only negative impression were the excessive charges for checking in between one and three hours before 4pm. I believe is not a good detail charging extra if the apartment is ready as it is already quite costly. They did not reply messages via Hotels.com

The whole process was seamless - from leaving our bags in the lockers and checking in, to the stay itself. Central being an understatement - with walkable distance to every single thing you would want to visit in Edinburgh, comfortable and more than spacious for a three night stay and a fair price to boot - I’d highly recommend it.
