Disappointing Stay – Unprofessional Staff & Misleading Amenities
My recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Lethbridge was frustrating from start to finish.
Pre-Check-In Hassle
Before I even arrived, I was bombarded with calls from the hotel demanding I complete the online pre-check-in. I explained that I was traveling through an area with poor cell service, but the calls persisted, making me feel pressured and uncomfortable.
Rude Customer Service
When I did manage to complete the pre-check-in, none of my credit cards were accepted, so I used my partner’s card. The front desk immediately called back, rudely insisting that I couldn't use his card since the booking was in my name. Despite explaining the situation, they threatened to cancel my stay unless my partner was physically with me, which he was. The entire exchange felt hostile and unprofessional.
Room Was Not As Advertised
The room was old, outdated, and nothing like the photos shown online. It had worn-out furniture, and the bathroom was in poor condition. This felt misleading compared to what was advertised.
Broken Amenities
The pool and hot tub were out of service, and this wasn’t mentioned at check-in. I was even told to enjoy them, only to find out they had been down for days. This was very disappointing as these amenities were a key reason for booking.
Overall
I expected much better from a Wyndham property, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short. I would not recommend this hotel.
