We have stayed at this property before and were excited to return. However, a couple service related disappointments. We booked two rooms, yet the rooms assigned were on complete opposite ends of the hotel. There was a pre-check in option provided yet when we completed it, this did not simplify or streamline the check in process. The check in area is also a coffee shop, which is not a good model or customer experience. The barista was performing multiple rolls, and none of them well or with any sense of urgency. There were several patrons in the coffee shop either waiting on check in information or their coffee order. Everyone was clearly unhappy and in the same boat. Interestingly this had no effect on the staff.
Once our key codes were given, the codes didn’t work, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but in this case it forced us to start the whole process again.
With that being said, the rooms were great, aside from a slight musty smell. Location is great and very walkable. Most likely I wouldn’t book this hotel again because of the awful service experience.
