The Museum of Making Music was founded in 1998 and was built to explore the history of making American music from its origin to the present day. The museum's mission is to highlight the importance of musical instruments and offer visitors opportunities to make their own music.
The Museum of Making Music explores everything about music making and much more through arranged concerts, films, and other shows. It doesn’t end there, however, as the museum also explores the relationship and connection of American music with the rest of the world.
