Will surely recommend Lopesan for families.
We were a party of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). Booked two swim-up pool rooms. One room was closer to the Boulevard where the other room was closer to the beach. But it is not that far of a walk. Everything is well planned. There is arcade, casino, kids club, gym, escape room, dance clubs, coffee shop, lots of other stores including pharmacy and 24hr doctor service at the Boulevard. Beautiful property, excellent stay experience, loved their spa service (used it twice), infinity pool (they had an awesome foam party), other small pools (one is adult only and one is for Unique) and so much more. All restaurants were good. Buffet was nice. Kids (4-, 7- and 8-year-old) enjoyed the water park. Room service food could have been warmer but other than that, loved everything at this resort. We didn't take unique experience (that's extra charge) but don't think we missed out anything much. There is an adult only pool exclusive for adult only bookings. We were able to access that once for free (otherwise there is charge per night). I had seen a lot of negative reviews before our trip, but I think those people have very high expectations. If you are ready to just relax and unwind, this is a perfect resort with little bit of everything.

Amazing all inclusive hotel
We stayed there 4 nights (2 adults and little kid). The room was pretty big with 2 double beds, balcony and enough space for our luggage. The all inclusive hotel is amazing, you have everything you need 24 hours. 7 restaurants, bars, buffet and much more. We will back there for sure.

Visited this property as a family vacation and expecting a five star experience I have to say we were disappointed with many things. First the room had numerous issues of poor maintenance. No hot water, toilet was not flushing properly, the drawers were not closing correctly, the iron wasn’t working, air conditioner was turning off because of the balcony door not closing properly and was auto turning off the ac, door frame was loose and fell on my son while attempting to exit room, The property is beautiful but the beach had garbage washing up including a used condom. We never went back to the beach and only used the pools at the resort which are nice. The manager did change our room but then forgot to add to the system and the staff had no idea what we were talking about when we couldn’t get back into our room. Beautiful property but beach should conduct proper maintenance daily due to many boats anchored close to shore) which is probably the reason for the filth on the beach) Maintenance needs to be more attentive to the missing drains, loose tiles and shower drains. Food and drinks were basic. Definitely not a 5 Star experience!

Loved our week here. We upgraded to unique to have a bit of seclusion at this huge property and we utilized it well. A couple restaurants were okay, but the others were very good compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at in the Caribbean. Butler service with unique was so helpful. We’ll add this to the list of resorts we’d love to return to.

I’m writing to express how disappointed I am with our stay at Lopesan Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino in Punta Cana. My wife, who is Dominican, and I were treated disrespectfully from the moment we arrived. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful when communicating with us throughout our stay. The worst experience came when we booked an excursion through the Expedia expert, Edwin Gomez. He overcharged us, asking $65 per person for an excursion that was supposed to be $45. We never received a receipt for our payment. Edwin also misled us by saying that transportation and bandanas were included, but we ended up having to drive our own car and pay for the bandanas ourselves. He promised to reimburse us, but we never saw a dime. In addition, the quality of the food at the resort was terrible. Everything was served at room temperature, which on a tropical island is concerning due to the risk of bacterial contamination. Sadly, this led to my wife getting a stomach virus that ruined her entire trip. She was stuck on a liquid diet for the full six days we were there. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially for my wife as a Dominican. We would never recommend this resort to anyone. It was an awful experience from start to finish.

This property was absolutely amazing. It was very clean in all areas and the staff was very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is there’s not many options for nightlife. I thought there would be more options for shows and entertainment, but that wasn’t an available. Other than that, my family had an amazing time and it was a trip we will always remember.
