The property was beautiful and serene. The cabins were clean and very reflective of the local culture. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful and welcoming. There is quite a steep walk to Santa Elena but taxi's are plentiful. This is a fantastic place to explore the Monteverde area from. Lots of activities and the beautiful town of Santa Elena is very welcoming with lots of food options.

We had a wonderful stay at Los Lagos. The property is beautiful! The whole family enjoyed the pools, water slides, the food at the pool bar and the breakfast buffet. Our stay was made even more special by the service we received from Gustavo at the pool bar who went out of his way to provide us with excellent service and made us feel welcome every time. Alexandra at the front desk took her time to make sure that our large family got rooms near each other. The service we received from those two people made our trip made our stay that much better. Thank you! I would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

I loooove love loved this accommodation. The room was perfect, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. And my favorite part was the surrounding evnvironment, which was full of beautiful flora and fauna. We witnessed so many different local mammals and birds right next to our cabin! Los Pinos is a rustic little cabin community. The cabins are clean, adequate cooking utensils etc towels and sheets provided. Reasonable price , close to many attractions, restaurants and excursions. The grounds are very a very nice natural setting. We had a lovely time and the staff was so wonderful, especially Anna who clued us in to the Hummingbird Cafe close by where we saw lots of different hummingbirds close enough to take stunning pictures with our phones. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely, spacious cabin in beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife literally on the doorstep (an armadillo!) and nice trails nearby. Walkable to a grocery store and restaurants, and just across the road there is a popular viewpoint for watching the stunning Monteverde sunsets. Very friendly, helpful staff organised an awesome coffee tour for us. A really special, unique place to stay.

Enchanting Escape at Los Pinos Cabanas y Jardines
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Los Pinos Cabanas y Jardines, and it exceeded all expectations. The service was not only friendly but genuinely warm, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, although a few extra pillows in the bedroom would have been appreciated. Situated in a great location, the hotel provided easy access to local attractions. The highlight, however, was the magical garden, a tranquil oasis that transported us to another world. The receptionist, a delightful and helpful soul, added a personal touch to our experience. What set Los Pinos apart was the incredible wildlife encounters. From playful coatis to curious agoutis and even an armadillo, the natural beauty unfolded right in front of our room. The lookout, with its charming charm, provided the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking surroundings.
