2/10 Poor

The room stunk of cigarettes. The fridge was filthy. The sink was clogged with hair and the floor was dirty. Paint was peeling from the ceiling and skirting boards. The shower and toilet block were disgusting. The whole stay pissed me off.

Nope
I booked this out of location only as we were travelling on to Sydney. Spend all their money on the bar and nothing on the rooms. As soon as we are walking in the room, the smoke alarm went off due to someone smoking in their room. I immediately booked a room somewhere else, and we left.

Great little pub. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable just the late night roadworks were a bit noisy. Will definitely stay there again

2/10 Poor

POOR !!!
My stayed here on 11 April 2024 . We live locally however as it was our wedding anniversary we decided to book a room for the first time so as to avoid driving home should we have consumed too many drinks. We experienced the usual good hotel dining experience downstairs in the bistro however the accommodation area upstairs was another experience all together!!! The accomodation area is outdated and neglected . Inside our room we experienced cockroaches coming out of bar fridge , missing tv remote ( upon informing staff at bar downstairs a make staff member , called promptly to our room at which time we bought the cockroaches to his attention). The staff member appeared satisfied the tv remote was missing and went and fetched another one and returned very promptly . Later in the evening after our return from dinner in the bistro area downstairs we boiled the kettle for the first time and discovered unwashed coffee mugs from previous guests yuk . One of us took the mugs downstairs to the bar and bought this matter to this same employees attention. The dirty mugs were replaced with clean ones at the same time . After that well things did not improve . Firstly a concert playing very loud music below us continued until 12pm when this was only a Thursday night and not a weekend , also no curtains or blinds were hanging over the only window which faced the street below and as a result our room was illuminated right through night . Worst accomodation experience ever .

I can deal with old that’s fine as long as it’s clean I don’t like to deal with a wet towel rolled up on my bed ready for me to use or the fact that you have to share your room with cockroaches that’s the terrible part cockroach baits or bombs are not that expensive I left a day early I couldn’t spend another night there
