Wish we would have stayed at Airbnb instead
Didn’t realize parking cost so much extra unless you drive a couple blocks away to a different gated open to the elements parking. The hotel door was horribly hard to open and didn’t know until the morning we were leaving when one of the cleaning people said someone at the front desk was suppose to give us instructions on how to unlock the door. We were in 5th floor which hallway to room was very dimly lit we had to use of phone flashlight to see room numbers and door lock. The view to pool and mtn listed was no existent. The tv didn’t work until maintenance had to bring a jack to move the super heavy furniture so he could plug it up. Apparently there was a resort fee added as well that wasn’t listed in price. There was a lot of peeling paint that was a bit worrisome because of the age of the hotel. There was a band playing in lobby that played pretty late and was too loud, we could hear in our room in 5th floor. The maintenance team was helpful getting tv plugged in and Joe was nice that brought our bags to room. The creamery down stairs was really good. But we will never stay here again

Go to another hotel… Dirty.
Don’t bring your car, it’s $22 to self park in a very old garage down the street and have to walk to your hotel. The hallways were so dark with little to no light. Once I stepped into the room, the carpets had stains EVERYWHERE… and chairs were very loved. The bathroom had water/mold on ceiling from previous guest and cracked/missing tiles. Only thing that was nice was the beds were clean and had nice pillows…

Usually our go to hotel for Hot Springs. But this time there was construction on our floor that woke us up early. Then we both realized we felt very dizzy and weird. I think there was a gas leak.

Great Charm in this older hotel
the hotel had a great charm to it. I knew when I booked the room it was an older hotel so was not expecting the state of the art rooms. the hotel was built in 1928 but it had a great charm to it and was fun just walking around the hotel. the room did get hot and I turned on the air but no air came out. found out latter it is heated from a broiler so you can go from heat to cold but once i figure that out we just turned everything off and the room was very comfortable even though the temp outside was in the 20s. Great location to the main area in hot springs. easy walking distance to everything we really wanted to do. Would stay here again.

Although this historic property is dated, it is still comfortable and an outstanding time. It is under restoration and will once again be majestic.

Arlington, "Grand Dame of Hot Springs!"
The Arlington is the "Grand Dame of Hot Springs". It just Celebrated 100 years and is in the process of renovating. It is the BEST location if you are visiting Hot Springs! Tara at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure guests are taken good care as does Shane in Parking! They both genuinely care about their guests! I had such a nice time staying here. I walked to the Bathhouses, Lunch, the National Park, and even Dinner at the Ohio. Again, ideal location!

Ok
The location is good the hotel is nice I feel like the rooms could offer a more comfortable bed and pillows. The atmosphere of the hotel was pretty good. The buffet offered and bar drinks are a bit pricey for the quality of food served , I guess you're paying for the convenience of it being on site. i did book a massage in the hotel as well , which I was a little disappointed with as well. Overall everything was just ok. The best part of the hotel is the location. I would go back hoping for a better experience with massage and other animates offered.

Beautiful Historic Hotel in Perfect Location
The employees were very friendly and loved the spa and the bar/restaurant area. Had live entertainment on the weekend that was very good. Also loved the old architecture and the free mineral water. The only thing I would say could be improved was the cleanliness of the room. My daughter and I stayed in one of the older rooms but the carpet was not vacuumed and the bathroom and shower could have been cleaned much better. Other than that it was a great stay in a perfect location and would stay again if in the area.

Spooky!
Spooky, Old, Charming. It is what you can expect from a large hotel in Hot Springs. We stayed at other amazing hotels on our trip and this one fell a tiny bit short on the upkeep and maintenance that we are used to in larger cities. However, it is a spooky, historic place so this is not a total surprise nor does it ruin your experience.

The lobby, check-in area, bar and restaurant are quite elegant and historical but our room and the whole 5th floor is very dated and in need of a major renovation! The lighting in the corridor is poor and the hall and room carpets are way over due for replacement! The self parking is $22+ per night and is about 100 yards away down the street and if you are on the 2nd or 3rd level it is a treacherous walk down against on coming traffic with your luggage on a wet and slippery slope! The Valet parking however is $30+ per day! I understand this Historic Hotel is currently undergoing major (behind the scenes) restoration it they have a long way to go to get it ready for it’s 100 year anniversary! Ps, the outdoor pool was drained but the adjacent hot tub was open! Overall it’s currently about a 6-10 but may become a 9+ in the near future after all the renovations are completed! PPs… they quit supplying complimentary locally bottled, mineral “Mountain Water” in the rooms and have deactivated most of the mineral water drinking fountains in most areas and on most floors since our last visit in 2017! 😢

Get away for Christmas.
The room was a bit sparse. There was no counter space in the bathroom. Fixing hair and putting on makeup was extremely difficult. The shower drain drained very slowly - I was concerned the water would overflow into the room. The carpet had stains all over it. Clearly this room hadn’t been renovated yet.
