    Once again
Incredible view. Attentive staff. Charming appointments. We stayed here 44 years ago on our honeymoon. Still a solid mansion.

    Fun older hotel.
Very nice hotel. Staff could be a bit friendlier. My only complaint were the very uncomfortable beds and pillows.

Pretty hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, place was dusty. My allergies went crazy every time we were in the room. Also, the bed was as hard as a board.

    Good 6.0
Noisy... hard bed... shower odd... Check in service mediocre... and what’s with the extra $15.00 resort fee? Ok place but not great. Breakfast in chandler room was best part.
    Kathleen, us1 night trip
    Exceptional 10.0
The hotel is amazing and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The rooms were elegant and we loved the claw foot tub. The rooms themselves show their age a bit here and there with small bits of paint peeling off and wirings that are uncovered but it is a very comfortable and clean accommodation. The sky bar on the fourth floor has the best pizza we’ve ever had and we enjoyed hanging out on the porch looking at the view in the morning.

Overall it was a great stay. We had an issue with the hot water in the shower being either scalding hot or nonexistant. Finding a happy medium was not happening. Loved the history and the staff were all excellent. They hooked us up with breakfast for the inconvenience. Will definitely be staying there again. I need to do the ghost tour still.

    Poor 2.0
    Not good
My experience coincide with what other guests reported on this website before: “I took a cold shower and then it would turn hot”; “our shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold”; “warm water for the shower, it turned back to cold in a few minutes.”; “hot and cold water varied during each shower.”; “the water temperature in the shower would go from cold to hot in a matter of seconds.” “I looked forward to seeing a restored Victorian hotel, but the Crescent has popcorn ceilings with textured walls.”; “the tub could use a recoating.”; “our room was down at the end of a hall. Hotel staff used our end of the hallway as storage “. “no lamp”; “there was barely enough light in the room to read by”; “No bedside table or any lamps, just the ceiling fan light”; “two of the lights didn't work.”; “The antiquated closet space was so dark we couldn't see our things” “was colder in the room than outside”; “Window a/c unit was extremely loud and the room smelled musty”; “was very cold when we were there and there was no heat in the room that we knew of”; ”The a/c in our room was loud and didn't really work.”; “Our room also was chilly as our heat didn't work.” “Was loud at night bc our room was next to the bathroom”; “We also had a ghost tour outside our room when we were trying to go to sleep.”; “we were booked into a room across the hall from a public access bathroom. The hotel hosts ghosts tours, there were lots of noisy guests accessing that bathroom until after 11:30 that evening”.

    Birthday weekend
The room was fine but we had a barking dog next to us. The brunch is amazing but we had one cup, one glass and one saucer that were all dirty. The glass was so bad I don't think it was actually washed. Food was very good. Staff was great!

    Not recommended for the price
Old and run down. Bathroom and jacuzzi were in terrible shape especially for the amount of money we spent!! The bed was comfortable and the Pizza place was Great!!
    Christina, us2 night trip
    Very good 8.0
Slightly expensive for the condition of the hotel.
The spa was wonderful. We ate both restaurants multiple times. The Sky Bar had great good but the service was painfully slow and inadequate. The main restaurant had great service and the food was yummy. The rooms are old, which is to be expected, but they could be cleaner. The carpet is stained and the tub needs to be reglazed. I was pleased to get an online deal for $168 and night rather than the $300 they quoted me.
