DONT book bedroom suite for sr citizens or babies

We stayed here with family for 3 nights 4 days. We were 5 people - 4 total adults - 2 70+ years old, a couple and a 1 year old baby. A. The room we got was the last room in the entire resort in a secluded building away from all amenities

Not for everyone

The property was attractive and had a beautiful beach… however I will not stay here again. I prefer a smaller hotel, more individualized service and better food options. Didn’t love the caliber of guests.

We felt Staff did what they could, but property was not well maintained. We had to wait hours for our room even after arriving well after check in time. After getting in room toilet didn't work, safe did not work, patio door was difficult to open and close, min bar whiskey was empty, and blow dryer did not work. My wife needed a blow dryer but when maintenance came up, he said it was shot and there was nothing he could do.

it was an amazing getaway! The resort has a beautiful beachfront location provided stunning views and easy access to the crystal-clear waters. The variety of dining options was impressive, with delicious cuisine that catered to all tastes. plenty of activities during the day but not much to do if you like to be up late at night.

I will not be staying at any RIU properties again or referring anyone to them. Unfortunately the food was of very poor quality, food is very important when on vacation and this hotel is not meeting any culinary expectations. We were extremely disappointing with all the restaurants and the lack of quality and flavor. The hotel activity programs and the bar staff were incredible, this department is truly exceeding on their service. We enjoyed the bar staff and how good they worked and their positive energy. The rest of the staff all looked extremely unhappy, bored and like they don't want to be there. Even the front desk, each time we had a question, it was like we were bothering them and they didn't have a positive attitude at all. Riu is not a company we will be using ever again.
