The Hotel had an old feel which was ok. The garden… beautiful! The room needed a serious upgrade. The bed was horrible. The mattress was nowhere near comfortable. For what you pay to stay there let’s just say it’s time to invest in a more comfortable and relaxing room. The hallway had this smelly old carpet that been there for too many years. It’s too damn hot to have smelly carpet and no air conditioning in the hallway. The ice machine was located 2 floors down. There was so many issues I had with this property. The one thing that made the room bearable was the view from the balcony. The food was decent. I wish there was a better menu instead of incorporating the same foods so often. All I can say is really do ur research before booking this hotel

Beautiful Resort
Overall a beautiful resort. Staff went above & beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Had trouble with getting enough towels everyday but eventually we did. Was told they were having problems with the washing machines & dryers. They need to bring the furnitures in the rooms to the 21st century and the keys to key cards but was told that they're working on starting the remodeling faze in September or October of this year.

Disappointed
The so called resort was distasteful the first room I was given was not fit for anyone to sleep in it was old and dingy looking they had carpet on the floor that was about over ten years old ,you could see the wear and tear with soil . No elevator . I waited in line for one hour before served then another 40 mins to get another room that was remodeled . They have bug issues a lot of big red ants was in the room and by the door . They need to close down and refurbish the entire place .. it seems they have a section that’s been renovated and other section that is not . Hotels.com shame on you for putting a silver member in such a room/place. The food seems recycled we did not like the food at all . Looking around I could see we were not alone . I would not stay at this Motel again .. I should have taken some pictures . The land scape is well kept beautiful historical settings and the staff are respectful and helpful especially the door bell staff (luggage helpers)
