Ocean Eden Bay...definitely needs improvement.
The hotel is nice but I wouldn't rate it 5 stars...more like 4 stars...we had to beg for face towels everyday, the food in the restaurants was just so so...the souvenirs on the resorts were extremely expensive as well as basic things like sunscreen...$30 USD!!! A can of Pringles ..$10 USD... Ridiculous! It appears that they cater to you when you first arrive but towards the end of the trip they are now catering to the new incoming guests so you are now secondary. And its definitely not adults only...we saw kids in the sports bar...SITTING AT THE BAR!!! we saw them on the beach, in the lazy river,etc...not an 'adult only resort '.

Great Stay
The hotel, bars, lobbies and entertainment were all great. The rooms are clean and new and beds were comfortable. I saw a couple of reviews about the wait of the restaurants but we did not find that to be true. The longest we waited was 20 minutes which we spent at the sports bar enjoying drinks and were paged when the table was ready. The staff however made the experience that much better. Odane and Jamario were amazing!!!! They made our stay that much more enjoyable, from setting up reservations for the dinner shows, bringing us in the golf cart when moms legs were hurting, to checking on us at the pool or beach , to bring gallons of water for us to rehydrate, you think of it and they made it happen. Tania at the Privilege Bar is where the fun started. She is great ! Go in there and have a shot, drink or just a great conversation with her. The long and short of it is I was on the fence with reading the reviews and was super nervous since I was in charge of booking for an all adult family and had been to Jamaica and stayed at Half moon last time. This place did not disappoint at all! If you’re on the fence book it, you won’t regret it.

Over all everything was great! The only hiccups were that the room wasn’t what I reserved. They don’t have rooms with two queens and a full let out sofa. It only had two queens with two chairs. I was lied to on numerous occasions prior to my arrival about the rooms. It was only upon arrival I was informed they don’t have let out sofas in rooms with two queen beds. They’re only on rooms with a king bed. Also they only leave two washcloths per room. When we asked for more washcloths due to four in our room, we would get extra towels and hand towels only.
