I’m sorry but the pics only depict the check in area, hotel is extremely run down, I’m pretty sure it was a motel 6 in its prior years. Pay the extra 20 and stay at a Holiday Inn, or Hampton inn. The staff is ok but the hotel is just too old.

best universal studios area hotel
quite, clean, comfy, friendly staff. minimum outside noise, great water pressure and clean shower head (no rust or mold), comfy bed, clean sheets & towels. they were fully booked the week we were there and parking was a bit difficult with not enough parking spots but the staff was super helpful to help us get that sorted out quickly. the location of this is soooo perfect, its like 2 blocks away from universal studios parking garage. i like the hotel was tucked into a cul-de-sac. will 100% be making this top pick for hotel for universal vacations. too bad its already booked for my next trip :P

The pictures of the hotel on the website are a little deceiving. The pool is quite small and the hotel is very basic. We were hoping for an early check at 12 or 1 because we had just got off a cruise. The hotel could not accommodate but did take our bags. There was no coffee in the rooms or options for a cot. It was however located beside an amazing mexican restaurant and walking distance to many amenities

A weekend in Orlando
There is a whole week at the hotel we went to Universal Studios, which is right around. The corner facility is very clean and the people are very friendly and I loved their 100% close to everything you could walk around the area pretty safe.

The property is not very clean, old rusty equipment in the rooms. Pillows are vey old and uncomfortable. Vey noisy at an ealy hour, in case you want to sllep late forget about it, you will be awakened with the sound of dragging carts..

This is a motel. Strong odor and dirty rooms
Not sure how this hotel was rated so high. Pictures of the hotel seem deceiving. This is also more of a motel. There was a very strong odor in the lobby at checkin and the rooms were dirty and not well kept. One mirror was broken and the other mirror was filthy. Bedding also had some stains. I suspect that some of these 10 star reviews might be bots or fake. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Check in was terrible. Hotels.com account is in my husband‘s name, but the reservation was for me with all my info and the lady would not let me check in. I’ve never had this problem. I had to have my husband call her and verify all my info. It was ridiculous. My room was near the interstate and I heard the traffic all night. Also shower was terrible

This hotel is really a motel with outdoor access to rooms. I left shortly after checkin because there were black small roaches on the floor and large brown cockroaches on the ceiling. Leftover hair on bathroom floor from the last guest and the front desk staff put us in a room with 2 double beds when I requested and paid for a King. The hotel refuses to issue a refund in a timely fashion after contacting them directly and through hotels.com. DO NOT STAY HERE. I went next door to Cambria and had a wonderful stay!!!!
