Not my first choice but convenient to Allegiant
My wife and I stayed at the W Hotel at Mandalay Bay, Friday through Monday morning. We attended a Raiders game on Sunday. Even though Hotels.com said this booking was at Mandalay Bay, we were informed upon check-in that we were booked at the W Hotel at Mandalay Bay, which was fine. Check in line took about 20mins. Not too bad. Person at the desk was informative. He told us that if we touched something in the mini-fridge for more than 30 secs then we would be charged for it. The mini-fridge was packed and it would've been nice to take some stuff out so we could store some of our personal food/ drinks in the fridge. But, we dared not do so, lest we be charged an arm and a leg. We did however, use the Keurig instant coffee maker in the room and I just noticed we were charged $16 per day (3 days) for "WLV refreshment Ctr Non-taxable." I can only guess that this was for the coffee since it was the only thing we used. The bed was ok, the pillows were chunky and also just ok. The room was convenient to go to Allegiant stadium. We took the walkway, which was just down the elevator from our room. If I wasn't going to a Raider game, I'd probably pick a better hotel. But for attending Allegiant stadium, it was very convenient.
