Definitely needs night security
The hotel in itself was very good we stayed here because it had a heated indoor pool and my daughter loves to swim however on the second night there was some kind of birthday party and many many children in the pool. My daughter is autistic and there is no way she was dealing with all the loud noise from all those children. So one day was lost for the main reason we stayed at the hotel. Also the second morning I was out walking around and noticed a couple pickup trucks had broken windows. Turned out there were about 11 vehicles with broken windows. The police showed up shortly and started taking statements luckily our vehicle did not get smashed into but I was told that was the third time this month at that same Hotel that Vehicles had been vandalized and broken into. I don't think I would stay there again even though the hotel itself was very nice

Great customer service, definitely will return
We had a 4 day, 3 night vacation and really enjoyed the our stay overall. The room was smaller in person than the way it appears in the photo and there's absolutely not one piece of storage! They have a sign suggesting that we use the 3 hooks on the wall and under the bed, although the bed is a platform. (So if you like to unpack during a stay it's impossible). More importantly, the service was a 10/5! Everyone was amazing, but Rickey definitely stood out! He remembered our names, took initiative over any issue I had, and made our stay so pleasant. I really wish I could take him on all of our trips. I did see someone else comment & it's true, they will not service your room until you specifically ask them to. I had to go "borrow" a broom, bring my dirty towels, and get new ones from the nice young lady cleaning rooms people checked out of. Other than that, I'd definitely return again.

Will never stay there again. Old man at the front took about 45 minutes to check us in because he couldnt work the computer. Shower had no water pressure. Bed was extremely uncomfortable that i would rather sleep on the floor.

Bed bugs! And breakfast….
Bed bugs. My first experience of this (thankfully) I’m covered around my chest/neck. Reported to front desk who pretty much scowled at me. A guy turned up later on with fresh pillows at our request who gave the same scowl. Woke up one morning with the pillow covered in brown rusty spots….thats their excrement. Great. And now I’m covered in bites. They did not care whatsoever Note to anyone with a food allergy at breakfast. No one was able to answer my question about what the food did or did not contain. Completely unable to tell me

The Tru hotel has been my go to for about 4 years now and this one held up to the other ones I stayed at for the most part. The only 2 negatives I can say about this one is it says hang your towels to reuse or leave on floor for new ones and 4 out of the 5 days they took my towels I had hung but the one day I left on the floor they didnt replace those so I had to go get new ones (definitely not a major issue at all) and second is the breakfast wasnt as big or good as the other Tru hotels we've stayed at but definitely big enough and not an issue at all. We will definitely stay again come February for the next time we are there.
